The NBSAP is approaching adoption

The National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) 2026-2030 is now approaching adoption. Over the past months, a series of meetings and events have been organized to raise awareness and engage various stakeholders, gather feedback, and ensure the process is as participatory as possible. In addition to public hearing, the draft document has also been open for comments through the official e-draft platform (here is the link: https://www.e-draft.am/projects/9027). As the senior biodiversity expert of the project, I am pleased to see that the long-term vision and goals, together with 30 national targets aligned with the 23 global targets, will provide a comprehensive framework for biodiversity conservation in Armenia.
