From Trieste to Nairobi!

Many thanks to the Fungi Foundation, and the Governments of the United Kingdom, Chile, and Armenia for the opportunity to join SBSTTA-28 online from Trieste and present Armenia's work on fungal conservation and the sustainable use of fungi.

It was a privilege to contribute to the side event, "Advancing the Fungal Conservation Pledge: Insights from Fungal Biodiversity to Support Sustainable Wildlife Management Practices".

As Armenia prepares to host CBD COP17, strengthening international collaboration on fungal conservation and recognizing the essential role of fungi in biodiversity conservation is critical.
