CBD COP17 Session at the Armenian Society of Fellows Conference

I was pleased to join as a speaker at the Annual Conference of the Armenian Society of Fellows held in Dilijan. As part of the conference program, the American University of Armenia Acopian Center for the Environment, within the Road to COP17 initiative, co-organized a dedicated session on CBD COP17 and global biodiversity governance. During the session, I presented the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, highlighting its key goals, targets, and relevance for Armenia. I also had the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion on CBD COP17, where we explored the opportunities and challenges associated with Armenia hosting the conference in 2026 and its role in advancing global biodiversity conservation efforts.
